The South Brooklyn Network is the publishing website for South Brooklyn Internet. southbrooklyn.com is a celebration of the brownstone neighborhoods of Brooklyn, capturing the unprecedented gentrification of the area as its residents and main streets have changed in the process.
For forty years, Mark D Phillips has been a photojournalist, documenting our world for newspapers, magazines, wire services, and now the internet. Since his first position as a staff photographer at The News Herald in Morgantown, NC, he has tried to pass a unique view of the world around him for his viewers enjoyment. Some of the moments have involved the best of the world and unfortunately, some of the worst.
