Traveling to Amsterdam for fun seemed impossible not that long ago. A three day visit from New York brought back the old joy of visiting one of Europe’s greatest cities of art, water and fun. It’s a Beyond Brooklyn experience for everyone.

New York Upholds Smoking Ban in Public Parks and Beaches
Governor Kathy Hochul effectively prohibited the use of cigarettes and e-cigarettes in all state-owned beaches, boardwalks, marinas, playgrounds, recreation centers, and group camps. Individuals caught smoking in these designated areas will be penalized with a civil fine of $50.

On the 30th anniversary of the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health, the annual Sportsball gala is returning to where it began — the Pierre Hotel in Manhattan.
