East of sun, west of moon

East of sun, west of moon is a timely, focused exhibition of new works by UOVO Prize–winner Oscar yi Hou, composed of eleven recent paintings that primarily highlight queer Asian American subjects. The show opens October 14, 2022, shortly after the reopening of the Brooklyn Museum’s Arts of Asia galleries on September 30.

Open House Weekend returns to Gowanus

On October 21-23, 2022, the 20th Annual Open House NY Weekend gives access to places not open to the public including the Gowanus Canal. Each day from 1pm to 6pm, the Gowanus Dredgers will offer exploratory canoe voyages to view post-industrial buildings and abandoned shorelines, now colonized by wildlife and new developments.
