It's Fleet Week in New York City and Brooklyn is the place to be for the Parade of Ships in the harbor on their way to berths around the waterfront.

The Brooklyn Museum will present a variety of public programs for adults, teens, and kids in June 2014 including artist talks, late night events, performances, screenings, and hands-on workshops.

Loopy: a Vine Art Symposium will explore the new medium and the practices of making "art" and telling stories in an immersive evening of channeling Vine artists and their magical works as part of BRIC's Stoop Series on May 21 at 7pm.

Northside Festival is breaking out some big guns of its own. We’re pleased to welcome back two veterans to the stage, as The War on Drugs and Beirut return to break in a new venue for the festivities.
