The Brooklyn Historical Society presents a FREE Screening of Rock Rubber 45s and Talkback with Bobbito Garcia and Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival founder Wes Jackson on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 7pm.

Street basketball, sneakers, and Hip-Hop collide in this singular documentary from the mind of Bobbito Garcia. Featuring interviews with Chuck D, Patti Labelle, Questlove, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more, experience this exploration into the global intersection of pop culture phenomena through the lens of Bobbito’s career as a streetball player, sneakerhead, and fixture in NYC’s hip-hop radio scene.
